Good morning.,

 Please see email below with regard to the Third Annual Horsemanship Training Program at Woodbine Racetrack is set to begin in April. We would appreciate if the poster could be distributed and this e-mail could be sent to legion members: 

 Dear Legion Members,

 Application is now open for the 3rd annual Horsemanship Training Program at Woodbine Racetrack (555 Rexdale Blvd, Toronto, ON) to train Hotwalkers and Grooms to work with Thoroughbred Race Horses. The free training consists of two programs:

 1. Hotwalker Program (introductory course- no experience required) April 23rd - May 4th, from 1:00 pm 4:00 pm   

2. Groom Program (advanced course)  May 14th - June 8th 2018 from 1:00pm - 4:00pm 

 Upon successful completion of the hotwalker program, successful participants may choose to take the groom course which runs from May14th - June 8th 2018.

Who should apply for this training program:

Do you love and respect animals?

Are you good at reading body language?

Are you a morning person?  (Starting time once employed is 5:00 am, 6 days per week most days finish by 12 noon)

Are you available to work weekends?

Do you love to work outdoors?

 At the conclusion of the program, we will assist participants in finding a job on the Woodbine stable area with individual horse trainers.
